Hello Everyone!
Hope everyone had an awesome year! I am looking forward to what 2012 will bring for me. Some new projects to look forward to and hopefully some new success. I have a lot of new ideas to expand my business with and hope I have the opportunity to pursue most of them. This coming month at Snail Creations I will be releasing two new paintings that I can not wait to get started on! The months to follow I will try my hand at a little more crafty projects to add to my list of products. A much needed expansion for my business. Hopefully by the end of this coming next year I will have mastered the art of airbrush. Be looking for new Airbrushed products in the near future. For now I want to wish each of you a safe and Happy New Year! Thanks for the support.

Paintings with Heart
"Paintings with Heart" - aka Paintings with a Heart.
When you purchase one of these paintings, 10% will go to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease. These paintings will have a heart on them or will have a heart painted within the painting itself.
Also help me fight heart disease by donating money to the American Heart Association or simply commission me for a painting. 10% of what I make off any commission will go to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease. Because I struggle daily with heart disease, I know the importance of needing to stay heart healthy. Not always something easy to do. But with your help we can get the word out and help fight this disease.

New labels for Battlefield Brews
Yesterday I worked on making some new labels for my brothers new beers for his home brewery Battlefield Brews. I had previously designed the logo for his brewery and label for his first beer. Once a new holiday or season comes along he likes to change the label or enhance it to fit that theme. I enjoy being a part of the new looks, and like challenging myself to create new things and learning new techniques. The more practice the better. And it doesn't hurt in helping me advertise my talents. Below are the new labels.

Granny and Bud
Yesterday I did a painting of my Grandparents for my mom (her mom and dad). It was painted from an old photograph of the two of them taken back in the early 1940's. It has always been one of my favorite pictures of them. I never had the pleasure of meeting my grandfather since he died before I was born. But I did have the chance to spend the majority of my life with my grandmother before she passed a few years ago. She is truly missed.Wish I could have known him as well. I was wanting to give her something for Mother's Day and decided I would paint something for her. I came across this picture and decided I would paint it for her. When I was done painting it, I framed it and hung it in her room next to her bed. I think she really likes it. Well she said she did. :)

Adventure Time Birthday Commission
I thought today would be a great day to update my blog since I haven't in a LONG time. I had a commission for a birthday party I have been working on for my nephew's 4th Birthday coming up this June. Theme for the party is a cartoon called Adventure Time that plays on Cartoon Network. Here is my work.
I had a great time with this commission. It was fun painting all the crazy characters from this cartoon. Its the first time I had ever seen the characters myself. But they were fun to paint because they are so original and different. Lots of fun and personality with each character. I have to say, cartoons have changed alot since I was young.

Dancing Snack/Food Paintings
For the past couple of days I have been working on some new paintings. I know I have promised to finish up my Fall Faerie Painting, but at the moment it is on hold due to weather conditions. My painting is sitting at Tims house, and because I live in the south and when it snows everything shuts down, lol, it will have to wait.
Anyways, here are the before after pics for my new paintings. Hope you enjoy.

Dancing Hotdog
Dancing Drink
Dancing Popcorn
Dancing Popsicle
I plan on having a whole lot more of these type of paintings. I just love the way they turned out. Of course I got the idea from some wall decorates that look like these. I added the popsicle to the collection.
Check out our website for previously added art I did not post here. And to purchase any of the ones you see here now.
